Privacy Notice

This notice explains how agrisynx ("we", "us") handles personal data when you use agrisynX. agrisynx is the data controller for the personal data described here.

Data we collect and why

• Account data (name, email, password hash, organisation, job title) — to create and secure your account. Basis: contract.
• Farm data (farms, locations/coordinates, fields, crops, tasks, inventory, harvests) — to provide the Service. Basis: contract.
• Crop photos and AI conversations — to run crop analysis and the copilot, and save your history. Basis: contract.
• Device location — only when you tap "Use my current location", to set farm coordinates. Basis: consent.
• Usage and technical data (IP address, device/browser info, logs, AI usage records) — for security, fraud prevention, plan limits and improving the product. Basis: legitimate interests.
• Support messages — to help you. Basis: contract / legitimate interests.

Payment card details are collected directly by Paddle, not by us.

Who we share data with

• Service providers — hosting, database and storage, AI model providers (to process your prompts and photos), and weather data providers (farm coordinates only).
• Paddle — our Merchant of Record, for the sale of subscriptions, payments, subscription management, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers — legal and accounting, where needed.
• Authorities — where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data. Some providers may process data outside your country; where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

We keep account and farm data while your account is active. After you close your account we delete or anonymise it within 90 days, except where we must keep records (e.g. for tax or legal reasons).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us at support@agrisynx.com to exercise your rights; we respond within one month.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls that isolate each farm's data, and private storage for crop photos.

Cookies

We use only essential storage (e.g. to keep you signed in and remember your selected farm). We do not use advertising cookies.
